Dali stands for Digital Addressable Lighting Interface and the
technology was developed by a consortium of international ballast
manufacturers. Dali comprises a standard digital dimming protocol that can be
broadcast and received by any Dali ballast irrespective of make, type or
supplier so clients can enjoy the many benefits of Dali technology without
being reliant on a single supplier.
Dali combines the accuracy and energy-efficiency of digital dimming
with unique lamp failure feedback and the ability to individually address
multiple ballasts along a single buswire.
