Scene setting creates lighting moods and effects which add drama to a space and allows lighting scenes to be adjusted to suit the various uses of a room.

Delmatic integrated scene setting and architectural dimming enables lighting within meeting rooms, conference and function areas, ballrooms, receptions and lobbies to form part of a site-wide network, managed and monitored through graphical software and benefiting from all the powerful features of a sophisticated system including lamp hours-run monitoring, emergency lighting test and monitoring, and corridor hold-on.

Delmatic’s range of Scene Setting controls includes single channel dimmers as well as multi-channel dimming racks and encompasses control of all types of lighting including tungsten, fluorescent (1-10V, DSI or Dali), cold cathode, discharge lighting and DMX sources.

Single channel dimmer
Single channel Lon dimmers provide phase-control dimming of one lighting output based upon automatic timed control, manual control from the head-end PC, or local control from scene-set panels, infra-red controllers, or interfaces with audio-visual products.

Multi-channel dimmers
Multi-channel Lon dimming racks comprise fully-engineered units with three-phase mains isolator and ports for the insertion of plug-in dimming and switching capsules.

Racks are populated with plug-in units to accord with the lighting schedules for individual projects and contain slots for the plug-in connection of 16A single-channel dimmers or 20A single-channel dimmers. Each dimming unit incorporates integral circuit protection and may be hot-swapped without the need to unscrew any cable terminations.

Scene set panels

Scene set panels offer control of multiple programmed lighting scenes and integrated functions (eg. blinds and AV screens). Scene set panels allow the selection of five scenes (including an “off” scene) plus master raise and lower buttons which adjust the global level of the selected lighting scene. The contemporary screwless fascia houses translucent, blue-lit, soft-touch buttons indicating the selected scene: a backlight enables the plate to be easily located within a darkened area.

The range of scene-set panels comprises:

Binary scene-set panels which connect to inputs at the lighting control modules.

Metro Dali scene-set panels which connect directly onto the Dali bus – typically used in a Dali application with Metro DELi 50 modules and avoiding the need to wire switches back to the control module.

Metro Lon scene-set panels which connect direct to the Lon bus and broadcast local commands onto the Lon network.

Scene set infra-red controller

The infra-red scene-set transmitter offers remote control of eight lighting scenes plus a master raise and lower feature or, as part of a Lon system, multiple scene control plus up/down control for temperature, window blinds and other services.
